The City of Point Arena with the Mendocino Council of Governments (MCOG) is developing a citywide Local Road Safety Plan geared towards improving traffic safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and drivers. The LRSPs would enable Point Arena to enhance safety for all modes of transportation and for all ages and abilities. The overarching goal is to develop successful LRSPs utilizing collision database to create a decision-making process that relies on a partnership with stakeholders and public outreach.
