The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has opened a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Veteran’s Building/Point Arena City Hall, 451 School Street in Point Arena. The Center will operate from 9am to 7pm daily through February 24.
Residents of the South Coast who had uninsured or underinsured damage and losses resulting from the severe storms and flooding are encouraged to visit the Recovery Center for recovery assistance.
DRCs offer in-person support to individuals and small business owners. Recovery specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and the State are available to assist residents on the entire South Coast from Elk to Gualala.
Some of the services provided include:
- Providing assistance with filling out recovery applications.
- Providing referral services to voluntary organizations who offer a variety of services to survivors.
- Providing access to the U.S. Small Business Administration for loan help and customer service.
