We removed ~403 cubic yards of garbage from Point Arena!
We want to extend a heartfelt apology to those who were impacted by the closure of Day 2 of Clean-Up Day. Due to the incredible turnout and high volume of materials dropped off on Day 1, all bins filled to capacity much sooner than expected. We understand that this was disappointing for those who planned to participate on the second day. Now we know, Clean-Up Day operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and unfortunately, once the bins are full, we are unable to accept additional materials.
We truly appreciate the passion and effort this community brings to keeping Point Arena clean and beautiful. Your participation matters. Thank you for your understanding, and for continuing to show up for your city. 💚 We look forward to serving you again, in 2026.
