🚧 Pier Closure for Hoist Repair: Oct 18 – End of November 🚧
The Point Arena Pier will be closed to all commercial and sport vessels from October 18 through the end of November while City staff repair the hoist bonnet to ensure safe and reliable operation.
➡️ No vessel launches will be available during this time.
✅ Restrooms and showers will remain open.
🎣 Fishing access will still be available in the designated public fishing area (no fishing license required).
This project is part of a larger hoist system improvement effort funded by the California Coastal Conservancy.
We appreciate the community’s patience as we complete these important safety upgrades to keep the pier working for everyone.
